Sourav Ganguly the Legend of India

Sourav Chandidas Ganguly is a former Indian cricketer and captain of Indian national team. He was born into a wealthy family. Ganguly was introduced into world of cricket by his elder brother Snehasish.  He started his career by playing in state and school teams. Presently, he is 5^th highest run scorer in ODIs and was 5^th person in history across 100,000 run landmark and only 2^nd Indian to cross that landmark after Sachin Tendulkar. Wisden ranked him 6^th greatest one day international (ODI) bastsman of all time, next to Viv Richards, Sachin Tendulkar, Brain Lara, Dean Jones and Michael Bevan.






After a series of plays in different Indian domestic tournaments like Ranji and Duleep trophies, Ganguly got his big break while playing for India on tournament of England. He scored 131 runs and cemented his placed in Indian team. His place in team was assured after successful performance in series against Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Australia, winning Man of the Match awards. In 1999 Cricket World Cup, he was involed in partnership of 318 runs with Rahul Dravid, which remains highest overall partnership score in World Cup tournament history. He is one of the top ten Indian cricketers.

About Shakib Al Hasan

Shakib Al Hasan a Bangladeshi international cricketer and captain of the national team is also known as cricket tiger. He is one of the top ten Bangladesh cricketers and has worldwide fame due to his outstanding skills. He made his ODI debut “One Day International” against Zimbabwe in August 2006.  Shakib topped the ICC’s all-rounder rankings in 2009. Shakib got captaincy of Bangladesh team in “July 2009” after the injury of previous captian “Mashrafe Mortaza”. At this time Shakib was 22 years old. Initially he was nominated for temporary captaincy until the recovery of Mortaza but Shakib’s outstanding performance against West Indies (win first overseas series) insured him as captain of Bangladesh Cricket team even after Mortaza recovered.

Graeme Smith Follow Up

Graeme Smith captain of South Africa Cricket team.He passed his early life at Johannesburg to his parents  Graham and Janet.He got his education from King Edward VII School.As a player of South Africa under 19 ,he played 
three test and one onday international.He got many prize as a good player.He maried an Irish singer Morgan Deane.

Graeme Smith has played for a number of cricket teams in South Africa. He currently plays for the Cape Cobras but due to his international commitments, his appearances for them have been limited, his last game for them being on 28 October 2004.

In 2008 Graeme Smith played in the inaugural Indian Premier League for Rajasthan Royals. His opening partnership with Swapnil Asnodkar achieved significant success. 

Smith made his Test debut for South Africa in 2002 in Cape Town against Australia.
